Starting a Startup

Startup is a rising sensation in the world. People are all set to do something big and contribute to their nation. But there are still some people who are just competing in the rat race and not exploring the real world.

This is because of the education system in which our aim is to give right answers. But the startup world is very different. Here the main focus is to ask a question and then find an answer. That is,Exploring a problem and then finding its solution. Now these are the first two steps.

Startup is called a business just because of the third step which is later monetizing it..

Before following the steps to start a startup lets first know some facts -

1.) 3% of the world's population control more than 97% of the wealth and 97% of the people control less than 3% of the wealth.

2.) In the United states,10 million people are millionaires and 90% of it are entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and the ones who run a business.

Now you can understand why Startups are treated like a business.

Must-Do Tips to start a Startup -

1) Asking 100 Potential Customers - When you think of an idea assume that 50% of the work is done. But you need to ask 100 potential customers whether they want the product or not. So you will get to know that there is a demand for your product in Market.

This is because we are thinking that this is a brilliant product but if the         people don't need it and the product is not able to add value, then what is the need to do it?

You need to test your idea in the real world.

2) First take your idea on a small scale - Initially provide information to people in Whatsapp or Telegram groups. As you won't have money and skills to make a website. Don't earn much profits.Just focus on Customer Satisfaction.

The very good example of a startup following this prior is - Dunzo. It was a service based company and would have a Whatsapp group in which people would ask for services they want.

3) Don't Worry about funding - Don’t give excuses for it. First create the value of the product. Investors will be in a queue.

I would give you an example of a startup - ChaiSutta Bar which has 135 outlets but has not yet taken funding. It is a bootstrapped model. They have created the value of their product and added creativity giving the customer vibes of a bar.

4) Start talking to people and develop your communication skills - According to me,this is the most important one because if you don't talk with people and dont network with them, you will not gain exposure.

It is said that in the next ten years, the majority of entrepreneurs would do collaborations.

It is also said that if you don't be in touch with people whom you admire, you can’t be the ones whom you admire. So network with aspiring entrepreneurs like you and gain knowledge from successful entrepreneurs.

5) Read Books on Startups-  Some of them are  Zero to One by Peter Thiel and Startup Sutra. You can get it on Amazon.

Self Learning is very important. Be Consistent in it.

Once you are committed to your vision, nobody can stop you. When you repeat your vision multiple times in  a day, it becomes Reality.
